Welcome 2018 and Welcome Readers
This time of year I work with a lot of people whose nutrition journey starts with a New Year's resolution. According to Newsweek, 44% of Americans plan to make a New Year’s resolution for 2018. While many people roll their eyes at setting Jan goals I'm a big advocate for anything that helps improve your life!
In the spirit of this, I thought I'd share my new year's resolution. I am going to start blogging again in 2018! I'm a bit overwhelmed by this idea, a little scared, but more than anything I'm excited to help build the Sol Nutrition brand through blogging.
First, I want to say welcome to anyone reading this post. Second, I'd like to introduce you to the Sol Nutrition Blog.
The Sol Purpose
The name Sol Nutrition came from two places. My middle name is Sol, which means “the sun” in Spanish (Jessica Sol Ismert). And my philosophy in nutrition counseling is all about identifying the sole purpose or sole goal that my clients have.
When I drill down to that singular level, and together with a client, I can find out what that one person really wants out of their nutrition journey, we have pure gold. The motivation a sole purpose provides is incredible, it drives everything we plan, change and add.
What You Can Expect To Read
In the upcoming blog posts I'd like to identify what the sole question my clients have and answer them one by one here. If we break down the topics into their simplest form I believe they will be so easy for you to apply in your daily life. Thus accomplishing my overall practice's goal in making people feel better through the food they eat!
2018 here we come! My New Year's Resolution is to post to The Sole Nutrition Blog once a week.
